Clinical Hypnotherapist, Registered Nurse, Mindfulness Practitioner, and Hypnobirthing Practitioner.

Angela combines her Clinical Hypnotherapy Diploma and her qualifications as a Registered Nurse specialising in oncology to provide practical medical hypnotherapy and education to patients and their families. Angela assists clients that require medically-focused clinical hypnotherapy and psychotherapy for a wide range of physical and mental conditions.

“This is a natural practise for me. I’m passionate about the benefits of Mindfulness Meditation and building a positive mindset through the development of self-acceptance and self-compassion.

The decision to train as a Clinical Hypnotherapist originated during my time working as an Oncology Nurse. I saw a need to better support people undergoing cancer treatments and decided to learn more about the way we deal with stress and anxiety. I have since worked with people at the end stages of life, assisting to ease their distress and provide comfort and support to both patients and their families.

While having two baby boys of my own, I learned the hard way how our sense of fear can disrupt the natural instinct to birth, which lead to my training in the practise of hypnobirthing.

I also have a keen interest in the body’s mechanics and particularly the Gut-Brain connection and its links to stress and anxiety.

The connectivity and outcomes of Hypnotherapy are inspiring. The ability to provide practical, anxiety-relieving skills to people in a way they understand and can experience in the moment is extraordinarily gratifying.

I enjoy the challenges and the value of releasing an unwanted habit or exploring an issue that a patient has never felt safe enough to discuss before. I love seeing clients gain an understanding of their self-worth and assisting them in creating a courageous new self.”
